HR Advisor (Part-time)

Job Overview

Hours: 2-3 days a week
Based in Amsterdam 


As an HR Advisor within Tellart, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources functions within a dynamic and innovative environment. You will be responsible for operational HR support to ensure the effective management of talent, employee relations, and organizational development initiatives. The focus will be on regular HR tasks, i.e. recruitment, employment contracts, L&D and wellbeing activities. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who wants to support Tellart 2-3  days a week.


Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop creative recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.

Employee Relations:
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws. Handle employee relations issues such as conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions with sensitivity and professionalism.

Training and Development:
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees, particularly in areas relevant to the creative design industry. Facilitate workshops or training sessions on topics such as design software, creative techniques, and project management.

Performance Management:
Administer performance appraisal processes and provide support to managers in setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews. Identify opportunities for performance improvement and career development through coaching and feedback.

Organizational Development:
Collaborate with leadership to assess organizational needs and develop strategies to foster a positive work culture and employee engagement. Implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

HR Administration:
Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including employee files, contracts, and compliance-related information. Handle payroll processing, benefits administration, and other HR administrative tasks as needed.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on employee relations (support), talent acquisition, and organizational development, preferably within the creative design industry.
  • Knowledge of basic employment laws and regulations relevant to HR practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
